What makes Passaic different

Three things about this city that change how we dry a building.

  • 01

One of the most densely populated cities in NJ, with blocks of older multi-family homes.

  • 02

Its position on the Passaic River makes flooding a recurring threat in the lowest-lying blocks.

  • 03

Older housing stock means finished basements and lower units that take on water in big storms.

Subfloor damage was caused by an unseen leak. They found everything and dried everything out correctly using the required instruments. Results showed success upon monitoring. Everything is OK now.

There was water seeping into the house via the front entrance because the sprinkler line had burst. Without delay, water removal was taken care of by the repair crew. Baseboards and floors were dried using dehumidifiers and air movers. Foyer seems identical to its previous state.

Although it did not feel rigid or forced, the procedure appeared to be well-organized.
